Container Plan specs
Setup notes and briefing numbers for Container Plan.
Container loading layout and checks
This Container Plan specs page breaks down the loading arrangement, packing assumptions, and shipment layout for each machine order. It is there to show how the unit travels and what needs to be checked before dispatch.
These specs set out how each CNC or laser unit is packed inside the container, including machine footprint, crate dimensions, tie-down points, and accessory placement. For South African imports, the plan also records moisture protection, port handling limits, and whether a forklift or crane is needed at unloading.
Photos taken before container doors close should show the machine position, blocking timber, and any loose items packed around the main unit. That record helps the receiving team compare what left China with what arrives in Johannesburg, Durban, or Cape Town, especially where separate boxes hold chillers, extraction parts, or tooling.
What the spec pack records
Each pack lists the container type, loading sequence, gross and net weights, and the space reserved for control cabinets, beds, covers, and spares. It should also note any parts removed for transport, so reassembly on site follows the shipping plan rather than guesswork after delivery.
Check the drawing against the ordered machine model, voltage requirement, and accessory count before booking shipment.
- Container size matched to machine footprint
- Door-close photos capture restraints and crates
- Weight split shown for unloading planning
Checks for South African receiving sites
Receiving conditions in South Africa matter before the container even leaves China. Older industrial units may have narrow access, uneven yards, low roller doors, or limited lifting capacity, so the spec sheet should reflect how the machine will come off the truck and move into position.
Coastal deliveries need attention to wrapped electronics, rust prevention, and sealed cabinets during transit and storage. Inland sites often focus more on dust ingress, power quality, and whether the machine can be commissioned immediately or must stand in storage after customs clearance.

Dispatch notes before container closing
Record the machine serial number, crate marks, dimensions, and final accessory count before loading is signed off. Include any removed gantries, separate water tanks, extractor sections, or fragile optical parts so nothing is missed during unpacking.
Keep the order file, inspection photos, and shipping documents together for customs and site preparation. When the machine arrives, the same notes help the install team verify that packing timber, clamps, bolts, and transport brackets were removed in the right order.
