Install Team

Installation support covers the people, tools, and site preparation needed to assemble imported CNC and laser equipment correctly in South Africa. It deals with positioning, services, safety checks, and handover so the machine can be connected and tested at the customer site.

Site crew and handover scope

Install Team covers the people and site tasks needed to get a machine assembled, connected, and handed over properly. It is for buyers who need the imported equipment working on the floor, not just delivered to the gate.

Before the machine lands, the install team checks power supply, rigging access, foundation condition, extraction points, and available lifting equipment. Conditions differ between inland workshops and coastal premises, so dust levels, humidity, and power stability are taken into account when planning assembly, alignment, and first power-up in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, and surrounding industrial areas.

Clear site photos help confirm doorway widths, offloading space, cable routes, and the exact machine position in the bay. During installation, those references are used alongside the packing list and layout drawing so crates, auxiliaries, and loose components are placed where they are needed for assembly and commissioning.

What handover includes

Once assembly is complete, the focus shifts to levelling, utility connection, safety verification, and basic operating checks. The handover normally records what was installed, which services were connected, and what still depends on customer-side items such as extraction ducting, air supply, or three-phase readiness.

Use the install brief to link the machine layout, utility requirements, and delivery sequence before expanding the order scope. Prior to shipment from China, confirm that the machine configuration, accessories, and any listed tooling match the approved specification, then send site and service details through the contact form so the installation plan reflects the actual workshop conditions.

  • Machine position checked against site layout
  • Power, air, and extraction verified onsite
  • Handover records for site reference

Power, Rigging, and Access Risks

Install planning often has to account for port collections, long-haul road freight, restricted access at industrial parks, and older buildings with limited crane or forklift movement. Some sites have existing compressors, chillers, or extraction systems in place, while others need those services confirmed before the machine can be commissioned properly.

At coastal premises, corrosion risk and moisture exposure can affect cabinets, rails, and consumable storage. On the Highveld, fine dust and power interruptions influence when covers are fitted, filters are checked, and the first approved test piece is run and recorded.

Information needed before arrival

Send the machine model, site address, offloading method, and photos of the intended installation area. Include any known issues with supply voltage, floor level, roller doors, gantry clearance, or the equipment being replaced so the team can prepare the right lifting, assembly, and connection steps.

After commissioning, keep the installation record with the machine file, service notes, and operator handover documents. That set of records helps when ordering spare parts, checking utility connections later, or confirming what was fitted during the original South African installation.
